Divided into eight segments of approximately seven minutes each, Panorama de la France takes students on a lively tour of France, including a trip aboard the famed TGV train, and visits to Nice, St. Tropez, a small community in the Alps, a historic town in the center of Burgundy, and three other fascinating locales. Natives and visitors are interviewed in each location, commenting ont he communities, talking about day-to-day life, and giving students a glimpse of the attitudes of the French toward their country and their towns. With this video cassette, students will experience the language as the French really speak it and gain an understanding of French culture as they sharpen their language skills.
